With over 25 years in the real estate industry, James has facilitated the successful sale of all asset types through auction, including those in the hospitality, office, retail, industrial and specialty sectors.
Having conducted well over 2,000 auctions nationally, clients benefit from James’ expertise in creating and implementing customized marketing solutions, specifically for situations including foreclosure, bankruptcy, REO and SBA involvement.
Prior to joining Hilco Real Estate, James spent six years as head of a national firm’s hospitality division. His established relationships and affiliations within the hospitality industry – financial institutions, Realtor® associations, auctioneer associations – in particular, the National Auctioneer Association (NAA) and AAHOA (Asian American Hotel Owners Association) – have enhanced his natural ability to build and retain a strong network of buyers and sellers.
In his free time, James is an active participant in his home community of San Antonio, Texas, offering auctioneer and consulting services to local charities as well as coaching local youth in golf and football.
