Ben is a leader of the bankruptcy team at Hilco Global and an expert in bankruptcy sale strategy and execution. Combining deep knowledge of the Bankruptcy Code with a data-driven, process-oriented approach, Ben has helped position Hilco as the nation’s leading bankruptcy sales firm.
Prior to joining Hilco Global, Ben was a Business Finance & Restructuring Paralegal at Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP, where he worked on multiple high-profile Chapter 11 cases, including Sears Holdings Corporation, Claire’s Stores, Inc., and Lehman Brothers, assisting across the pre-petition, post-petition, and post-confirmation stages.
Ben earned his Juris Doctor from the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University. He now advises debtors, trustees, secured lenders, and other bankruptcy professionals nationwide on complex Chapter 11 and Chapter 7 sale processes. He actively helps clients maximize value through disciplined execution and strategic positioning throughout bankruptcy cases across the nation.
